Congratulations to Estel Font on her doctoral thesis defence!

Estel defended her thesis, “Ventilation of the Arabian Sea Oxygen Minimum Zone”, in Natural Science with specialization in Oceanography at the University of Gothenburg.

The defence took place on Thursday 16 October 2025 at 13:00 in Hall 3401 Korallrevet, Natrium, Medicinaregatan 7B, Gothenburg.

The faculty opponent was Dr. Marina Lévy from LOCEAN, Sorbonne University. The examination board consisted of Dr. Johannes Karstensen, Professor Eleanor Frajka-Williams, and Professor Isaac Rodrigues Dos Santos, with Professor Fabien Roquet chairing the public defence.
